Hi Everyone! My name is Kaili Woop and I am an artist, designer, and creative problem solver based in Astoria, New York. My work blends gelliprinting, wearable art, and bold, dynamic aesthetics inspired by Y2K, sparkles, textures, and everything that made my inner child feel alive while coping with trauma and layers of chaos. This blog is my little corner of the internet where I can share my artistic journey, my process, the things that inspire me, and the world I’m building through color, individuality, and experimentation.

I have always been drawn to making things with my hands since I was born and pursued creative entrepreneurial pursuits from a young age (creating and selling beaded animal keychains, duct tape purses and pens and more!) As I got older, I got into painting, printmaking, embellishing, transforming everyday materials into something expressive. Recently, my curiosity for printmaking grew into a love for gelliprinting, a technique that blends unpredictability, texture, and color in a way that feels like organized chaos. It is the perfect medium for someone like me who thrives in spontaneity and intuitive creation. Each print is a surprise, a moment captured in layers; nothing forced, nothing perfect, just pure expression.

My personal brand is more than just a typical brand or a business. It is a space for individuality, community, and expression. It is for people who love art, fashion, color, or simply the feeling of making something with their own hands. It is for the people who want to stand out, experiment with colors/textures, and embrace the parts of themselves that feel the most authentic.

My art style today is deeply influenced by everything that shaped me: NYC energy, going to FIT for Fine Arts, growing up obsessed with glitter and bright colors, the punky-funky edge of early 2000s fashion, and my desire to reconnect with my childhood self as I overcome childhood traumas. I want my work, whether it is a print, a painted jacket, a workshop, or a custom piece to remind people that creativity does not need to be rigid or intimidating. It can be fun, messy, personal, imperfect, and completely your own.

Through this blog, I hope to share more of the behind the scenes moments: the experiments, the workshops, my thought process, the wearable art collections, the mistakes that turn into breakthroughs, and the ideas that grow into something bigger. I want to give you a look into what I am creating, what I am learning, and what is inspiring me (even if it is sharing my other interests outside of art)… and maybe encourage you to explore your own creative passions too!
